by Joan Aimuengheuwa March 5, 2021 5 min read

Launched by FATE Foundation, the Business Recovery Programme is organised to support young Nigerian entrepreneurs who have been economically affected by the covid-19 pandemic.

The virtual programme is funded by the Standard Chartered Foundation, and is a part of futuremakers by Standard Chartered, a global initiative with a goal to tackle inequality.

Also, the programme seeks to support 2,000 young entrepreneurs, including micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) businesses believed to have a crucial role in economic recoveries after the pandemic. Diverse range of young entrepreneurs will get the opportunity to contribute towards a richer, more varied and more resilient economy for everyone.

Through her Growth Support Services unit, FATE Foundation has supported over 400 entrepreneurs in applying for programmes such as the CBN AGSMEIS and the CBN Economic Stimulus loan plan.

The Digital Transformation Workshop will provide digital strategies, knowledge, skills, and tools for entrepreneurs to manage their businesses.

The Consulting Clinic is a personalised business advisory session which has been run over the years. The clinic focuses on major business areas such as tax, digital marketing, accounting/cash flow management/finance, HR, legal matters, among others.
