Amahoro Coalition launches $155,000 fellowship to back young displaced changemakers

by Deborah Idowu April 29, 2025

Applications are now being accepted for the Amahoro Coalition Fellowship 2025, a one-year programme designed to develop young African leaders who have been displaced by force. The programme gives participants access to networks, visibility, and mentorship to help them expand their influence across Africa.

Since its launch in 2019, the Amahoro Coalition has dedicated itself to providing resources to enable internally displaced individuals, refugees and other forcibly displaced people (FDPs), to establish sustainable businesses. The one-year programme does more than just teach participants new skills, it provides participants with the resources and encouragement they need to build on what they have already started.
