Mulago Foundations is now accepting applications for the Henry Arnhold Fellowship 2026, for CEO or Founders of an early-stage startup that addresses pressing climate issues and develops conservation solutions.
Mulago finds leaders doing climate through the Henry Arnhold fellowship and helps them plan and scale their impact. Each year eight- ten fellows are chosen and mentored to develop scalable, high-impact models that produce better, faster, and wider results.
Here are the key elements that make up the Henry Arnhold Fellowship: Resources & Support, Community & Connections, and Design & Strategy. Its main goals are to assist leaders in the development of scalable impact models, the improvement of organisational strategy, and gaining access to the funding and direction required for successful expansion.

Who can apply
To be eligible for the Henry Arnhold Fellowship 2026, you must:
- Be the founder or CEO and work full time
- Lead an early-stage non-profit or for-profit organization that is addressing conversation or climate issues
- Have a small-scale solutions that is already effective and has the potential for large-scale impact
Key dates to remember
- Sourcing (July–August 2025): Mulago uses a network-driven method to evaluate applications and suggestions in order to identify leaders who are fearless and prepared for impact
- Recommendation deadline: August 7, 2025
- Application deadline: August 28,2025
- Screening (September 2025–January 2026): To determine fit and potential, shortlisted individuals have up to three learning conversations with the Mulago team
- Selection (Early 2026): About ten fellows are selected depending on how well their solution scales and how well they fit Mulago’s objective.
- Fellowship Start Date (June 2026): The program begins with two in-person retreats and offers continuous coaching in storytelling, impact design, and strategy.

Eligible leaders can apply for the Henry Arnhold Fellowship 2026 programme directly by filling out a short focused form designed to save time on or before Thursday, August 28,2025. The process takes 1-2 hours and is built to highlight strong ideas, not long proposals.
