The Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) is calling on eligible applicants to apply for its NES #24 pitching Event.
NESG organises the Annual Nigerian Economic Summit in partnership with the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning.
Last year, the NESG introduced a Startups’ Pitching Event as part of its Annual Nigerian Economic Summit, where innovators and entrepreneurs from all over Nigeria would have an opportunity to pitch their startups. The event also creates an avenue for such businesses to collaborate and interact with individuals and organisations interested in promoting entrepreneurship.
Selected entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to pitch to experienced investors and obtain great feedback and possibly capital.
The Startups Pitching Event at NES #24 holding on Sunday, October 21, 2018, aims to connect new Nigerian startups seeking avenues to raise funds with potential investors.
In this year’s edition, eight selected early-stage startups that are registered in Nigeria and have been doing business for not more than 5 years will be invited to pitch in front of investors.
Each selected start-up will have 5 minutes to pitch to prospective investors and 10 minutes to answer questions from them. The Session will also connect the eight startups with venture capitalists and investors.
