by Tamunosaki Evans May 16, 2025 5 min read

The Norrsken Accelerator 2025 has opened up a platform for bold minds committed to building towards a brighter future. The Accelerator is designed to put the spotlight on early-stage startups creating real and positive change in society, with a vision to leave a lasting impact on the world.

Backed by the Norrsken Foundation, the Norrsken Accelerator was founded by Niklas Adalberth, the co-founder of Klarna. The Norrsken Foundation is a non-profit organisation with a global ecosystem of investors, mentors, partners, and a support system that enables startups to scale impactful solutions. This accelerator is designed to empower startups with scalable solutions that address pressing global challenges, providing resources and connections essential for long-term success.

From healthcare to climate innovation, the Norrsken Accelerator has supported a diverse range of early-stage startups, making significant strides in their respective fields. Notable alumni include: Clafiya, a digital primary healthcare centre improving access to medical care in Nigeria, and SunFi, a Nigerian fintech platform helping more people transition to solar energy. Emata is another fintech alumnus providing Ugandan farmers access to fair digital loans, while Complete Farmer connects African farmers to the global market.
