Roothub is set to host the 6th edition of StartConFest 2020

RootHub, Uyo’s leading innovation hub will be hosting the 6th edition of the StartConFest 2020 at the Roothub HQ Arena, Uyo. The event which is slated for November 27-28 is celebrated yearly and it’s a platform where business and technology meets creativity — businessmen, industry players, entrepreneurs and leaders get together to learn and have fun in between.

Themed “Go Digital”, the event looks to educate and inform entrepreneurs, corporate organisations, students, industry experts on the need to stay abreast of the digital trends in their various fields as well as how to thrive in the digital economy.

The two-day event will see guests and attendees have access to sessions, talks, exhibition, games, drone zone, performances, experiential activities, fashion, plus an opportunity to network and connect with industry leaders.

Last year, the event was graced by seasoned entrepreneurs, professionals and tech experts which include Emo Umoh (Co-founder, Global Air Media & Global Air Academy), Chinonso Ogbogu (Founder, Sabi Writers), Frank Edima (Brand Strategist & Social Entrepreneur), Ibukun Oshilagun (Lead UX designer at AppZone Group), Dr Adereni Abiodun (Founder/CEO, HelpMum) and Namnso Ukpanah (Product Designer, Flutterwave), and ​Joey Akan (Entertainment Journalist).

This year, the host community noted that during the Talk Zone session, attendees will be able to learn directly from some of Nigeria’s leading innovators, leaders, and creatives including Ubong King, Precious Usoroh, Abiodun Adereni, Uduak Charles, Rose Akai, Emmanuel Ibok, Imelda Edet, Eno Umoh, Eng. Ekemini Umoh, Glory Bassey.

Additionally, entrepreneurs from The Roothub community will be given the opportunity to showcase and retail their products in diverse industries.
