African Innovation Academy 2019: Learn how to structure your business like a Fortune 500 company

What does it take to structure and sustain a billion-dollar innovative enterprise for global competitiveness? In its bid to support and boost entrepreneurship development in Nigeria and Africa at large, the African Innovation Academy (AIA), a Nigerian based organisation that promotes entrepreneurship development is organising an intensive entrepreneurship development workshop for founders looking to structure their businesses like fortune 500 companies.

African Innovation Academy is an Innovation Accelerator for African small businesses and startups. Since inception, AIA has been supporting African entrepreneurs and promoting African innovations. The organisation focuses both  on corporate and startup innovations through the following:

    • Workshops and Seminars
    • Innovation Management
    • Investments
    • International Opportunities
    • Research and Development
    • Events

AIA 2019 entrepreneurial workshop is open to aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, small and medium scale business owners, and corporates.

Speaking on the workshop, the Programme Director of African Innovation Academy, Tony Ajah notes that “the training courses are well designed to equip the participants with the right skills that will improve their entrepreneurial pursuit, especially the bottom-line.”

The courses for this editions workshop include:

  • Understanding Business Systems that Facilitate Growth;
  • Building and Sustaining a Successful Innovative Enterprise;
  • Building Lean and Innovative Business Models to Deliver Strategic Goals;
  • Mastering Digital and Social Media Marketing for Enterprise Profitability;
  • How to Write a Bankable Business Plan

Some of the lead facilitators for the workshop include Emmanuel Effiong-Bright, The Idea Strategist at Emmagination Consulting; Grace Akinosun, Founder, smepeaks; Okey Chigbu, Founder, Naija Agency; and Kenneth Nwakanma, Co-Founder, Greenergy Waste Management.

Training details

The workshop date is Thursday, October 24, 2019. It will hold at Academy Center at 63 Oduduwa Crescent, GRA, Ikeja starting at 9 am prompt.

Registration is still on. Entrepreneurs, business owners, MSMEs and aspiring entrepreneurs looking to reposition their businesses in today’s  digital and global marketplace are strongly encouraged to register.
