A machine learning Platform for Artificial Intelligence (PAI), Alibaba Cloud Global AI Innovation Challenge, has been launched by Alibaba Cloud, a cloud computing and artificial intelligence company. Empowering AI developers and innovators, the goal is to lower technical barriers and development costs, thereby enhancing AI products and projects.

Also, the challenge seeks to promote AI projects possessing creativity, originality, and machine learning algorithms, solving problems in industries such as; e-commerce, short-form videos, social media, online education, healthcare, energy, transportation, wildlife conservation, pollution prevention, and caregiving.

Benefits
First place, which comprises of one team, receives the following:

• $20,000 Cash Prize (Pre-Tax)

Second place, comprising of two teams, receives:

• $10,000 Cash Prize (Pre-Tax)
• $4,000 Alibaba Cloud Credits

Third place, consisting of three teams, receives:

And finally, the Innovation Award, consisting of ten teams, receives:

Eligibility
The challenge is an open competition for global AI developers, researchers, startups and solution providers leveraging machine learning. Also, the following are required:

• Participants must have an account on Alibaba Cloud International Site before registering for the challenge

• In order to get a PAI coupon and start using PAI, you are required to add a valid payment method to your account

• A team may consist of one or more participants. The coupon and award will be given to one account for a team and cannot be separated
